Corel today announced the winners of the 2011 CorelDRAW® International Design Contest. With categories representing a range of production and design disciplines, the contest celebrates the diversity of CorelDRAW talent from around the globe. A total of twenty-four winning designs were selected from the hundreds of entries submitted by CorelDRAW users worldwide. Joseph Diaz of Pontiac, Illinois was named the Grand Prize winner for his entry entitled Steampunk Stella’s. All of the winning designs can now be viewed on the CorelDRAW web site.
“The opportunity to connect with our community and showcase their talent is a highlight for me and the entire CorelDRAW team,” said John Falsetto, Senior Product Manager for CorelDRAW. “I am always amazed when the submissions start pouring in. Three winners plus the top student entry from each category will receive a valuable prize package including selected products from Roland®, Wilcom®, Euro-Systems®, Digital Designware, Apple®, Digital Art Solutions, Wacom®, Canon®, HP, Seagate® and Corel®. Joseph Diaz, the grand prize winner will also receive a Roland® VersaCAMM™ SP-300i printer/cutter (valued at approx. $13,495 USD).
