Centre for Arts and Technology Announces Scholarships for Tenth Anniversary

mini-orbyTo celebrate its 10 Year Anniversary, the Centre for Arts and Technology is pleased to announce they will be awarding scholarships totaling $475,000. To apply for a scholarship, students are asked to fill out an application including a short essay detailing where they see themselves 10 years from now.

The school will also be awarding a $10,000 President’s Scholarship to a recipient who has demonstrated passion, determination, and a commitment to his or her future industry of choice.

Scholarships will be awarded to students who enroll in one of the following programs starting in July or October 2012:

  • Animation for Game, Film, and Visual Effects
  • Audio Engineering
  • Digital Filmmaking
  • Event and Promotions Management
  • Fashion Design and Merchandising
  • Graphic Design and Web Development
  • Interior Design
  • Veterinary Hospital Assistant
  • Network Security

“Ten years marks a milestone that companies rarely see,” says Centre for Arts and Technology President Martin Theiss. “With 10 years of graduates working in the industry, we have a proven track record for quality education that not only teaches students the skills to master their professions, but also helps them positively contribute to their industries and to society as a whole. That is what we call real education and that is what we are celebrating.”
