^[1]ACISE-LA ^[1] (Academy of Canadians in Sports and Entertainment- Los Angeles) is proud to announce the first annual Golden Maple Award’s timetable. The Golden Maple Awards were created by ACISE-LA to promote and honour Canadian TV talent and athletes in the United States and will be timely done for to boost Canadian talent visibility during Emmy nomination campaigns.

March 8^th 2015 – Submissions officially opened for all nominees and honorees in the following Categories:

Best Actor in a TV series broadcasted in the US
Best Actress in a TV series broadcasted in the US
Newcomer of the Year in a TV series broadcasted in the US
‘Maple of Excellence’ for outstanding achievements

March 31^st 2015 at 11:59pm PT – Submission entries are closed.

April 1^st– April 15^th 2015 – GMA Committee reviews submissions for eligibility and deliberates selections of Nominees and Honorees.

April 28^th 2015 – Nominees are announced for the following categories:

Best Canadian Actor in a TV series broadcasted in the US
Best Canadian Actress in a TV series broadcasted in the US
Canadian Newcomer of the Year in a TV series broadcasted in the US

The GMA Committee will release the Honoree names separately.

May 12^th 2015 – Ballots will be released to all members for voting.

June 23^rd 2015 at 11:59pm – Voting officially closes for the selected categories.

July 1^st 2015 (Canada Day) – The Golden Maple Awards will be presented. (Location to be announced)

Submissions can be sent from the U.S. network, talent’s agent, manager, publicist, or self to ACISE-LA headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Eligibility for all nominees can be found on the membership page of the website ^[1]. The Golden Maple Awards will not only be an event for networking and mingling for Canadians in Sports and Entertainment, but a chance to recognizes the achievements of ACISE-LA members. This Red Carpet Gala will elevate and highlight what Canadians have been providing Hollywood and the world of sports for years.
