The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo (Calgary Expo) has announced that it is expanding to become a four-day show in 2014.The second largest all-ages pop culture convention in Canada will feature celebrity icons from all facets of pop culture, including comics, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, cartoons, anime, and gaming. Now with four-days of sensory overload fans can feed their inner geek with even more celebrity Q&A panels, autograph & photograph sessions, exhibitors, and workshops.
Expo-goers should plan to purchase tickets early as Calgary Expo 2013 sold out weeks before the event. The extra day and earlier release of tickets, which went on sale this past Friday November 1st, will help accommodate the high demand for tickets and permit fans to better plan their expo experience. Tickets will only be available in advance, online and at participating retail locations. There will not be any tickets available at the door, to ensure that all ticket-holders will be guaranteed entry into the event.
With tons of star-studded guests in the works, confirmation announcements will begin in December.
Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo will take place at the BMO Centre in Stampede Park, 20 Roundup Way SE in Calgary beginning April 24th and running through to Sunday April 27th.
