Premier digital content strategists and creators Daniel Dales and Jarrett Sherman are announcing the launch of Digital Howard, an interactive entertainment company focused on creating and producing extraordinary 360 degree entertainment experiences for audiences on all platforms. Digital Howard specializes in expanding conventional intellectual property onto digital platforms, working with IP owners at any point along the curve, from the initial stages of development through production and exploitation. Dales and Sherman founded Smokebomb in 2008 and were quickly acquired by television prodco Shaftesbury to become their in-house digital studio. Having left Smokebomb in the summer of 2012, the Executive Producers bring an impressive list of awards and accomplishments to the table in their latest venture.
Digital Howard is also announcing its first project, ‘SPIN OFF 360’, the digital media extension of the highly anticipated Canadian game show ‘SPIN OFF’, created for television audiences by Mark Burnett’s One Three Media (‘Survivor‘, ‘Celebrity Apprentice’) and produced by Suddenly SeeMore…Productions (‘Pawnathon Canada’). The series will have its broadcast premiere in Fall 2013 on Channel Zero’s CHCH in Ontario with the digital media extension to be available on the CHCH website. `SPIN OFF 360` is funded with the participation of the Bell Broadcast & New Media Fund.

`SPIN OFF 360’ is the digital version of the television game format, which allows the audience watching at home to play along with the ‘SPIN OFF’ television game show, in real time, on their digital device of choice – tablet, smartphone, or laptop. The interactive experience also includes a “Digital Home Edition“ of the show where users can play any time of day and compete against the rest of the digital community. All game play will generate points to qualify players for the season ending ‘SPIN OFF’ Digital Tournament for cash and prizes.
