Devolutions Releases New Remote Desktop Manager 8.1

devolutionsDevolutions has released the next generation of its leading remote desktop connection and credentials management tool Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) version 8.1, the first major release since launching the very well-received RDM 8.0 in November, which included a brand new customizable UI. Version 8.1 builds on those gains, and features a wide range upgrades and enhancements, such as:

  •     Keyboard shortcut customization
  •     Citrix Web session support
  •     SQLite data source type
  •     Quick toolbar customization
  •     VisionApp vrb file format import
  •     VPN User Specific Setting support
  •     Enable/disable RDM smart sizing while connected
  •     Serial number import from .csv
  •     Automatic PVM close
  •     Domain variable support fro SSH shell
  •     Export html/csv/xml for all types
  •     IE 10 emulation mode
  •     More proxy settings for SSH and Telnet
  •     Support for Large Address Aware system
  •     …and more than 100 other improvements and fixes

Users who currently have an RDM Enterprise license or who have subscribed to the company’s innovative, low-cost maintenance program, can download RDM 8.1 now. New users can also download RDM 8.1 and enjoy a no-cost 30-day trial, after which they can continue using the Standard Edition for as long as they wish, or upgrade to the Enterprise Edition for a nominal fee.
