Devolutions Launches Improved and Enhanced Remote Desktop Manager Version 7.5

devolutionsDevolutions, a growing Canadian-based enterprise software development firm that recently exhibited at Microsoft’s TechEd 2012, has launched version 7.5 of its flagship solution, Remote Desktop Manager, which is relied on by more than 200,000 users in over 80 countries. It empowers users to add, edit, delete, share, organize, find and manage all of their remote connections and virtual machines. They can also access password management and credentials management features, which improve efficiency and reduce risk.

This latest update to Remote Desktop Manager is an expression of Devolutions’ commitment to continuously improving its offerings, which currently include Password Vault Manager, Remote Desktop Manager Online, and Remote Desktop Manager Server.

New features Remote Desktop Manager 7.5 include:

  •     ScreenConnect integration
  •     Inventory report
  •     Credential dashboard
  •     VMware console with integrated remote control
  •     Session shortcut feature
  •     Support multiple monitors
  •     Multi-installation path support for Putty, TeamViewer and Dameware
  •     Import PasswordSafe passwords
  •     Batch edit MAC addresses
  •     Language support for German and Russian

Enhanced features Remote Desktop Manager 7.5 include:

  •     Several security enhancements (new security rights, views and access reports
  •     Several VPN improvements (VPN routing; Microsoft VPN connect detection)
