Via the Canadian Digital Media Network: Last month, CDMN’s fourth annual Canada 3.0 Digital Media Forum brought together nearly 2,000 delegates in Stratford to share their creativity, passion and technology expertise with Canadian entrepreneurs, industry thought leaders, academia and government representatives. Together, they reported on our nation’s progress towards what we call the Moonshot goal: To ensure that anyone can do anything online in Canada by 2017.
Throughout an impressive schedule of keynote speakers and break-out sessions, delegates discussed and debated five key themes:
The outcome of those conversations will help to ensure Canada’s leadership position in the global digital economy.
The forum also drew upon the contributions of post-secondary students, startup entrepreneurs, international delegates from Brazil and – in our National Partner Pavilion – the ten nodes of digital media commercialization across the country, that have joined us in pushing Canada’s digital agenda forward.
