PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, the highly acclaimed concert series featuring music from blockbuster video games and performed by some of the finest, world-class orchestras and choirs, will be performing at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary on May 18 and 19.
Brought to vibrant life by a full orchestra and chorus, PLAY! A Video Game Symphony will debut in Calgary the musical score from Skyrim of the award-winning Elder Scrolls series, as well as showcase all-new, exciting arrangements from Metroid™, Castlevania®, Halo®: Reach, Final Fantasy® VI, the 25th anniversary medley from The Legend of Zelda®, as featured on the Skyward Sword Orchestral Audio CD, and much more.

The two-hour concert will be performed by members of the Calgary Philharmonic and Chorus and conducted by prolific Award winning composer, conductor and symphonist of music for film, television, live concerts and interactive games Andy Brick. To the further delight of video game connoisseurs, outstanding graphics sequences depicting memorable moments from the games will accompany the musical scores on large screens suspended above the orchestra.
