Help Spark Light Byte On IndiGoGo

mini-orbyLight Byte is an action-puzzle game project currently being developed by Centre For Digital Media masters student Steven Pastro. The game is designed to test your reflexes and memory in a puzzle matching game that’s unlike anything you’ve seen before, and is very close to meeting its fundraising goal on IndieGoGo. light byte

The campaign, which ends on March 31st, is very close to meeting its goal, and I hope that some of our readers will help Steven get the extra boost he needs as he works towards releasing his first indie game title for iOS devices.

The mechanics of the game are based on combining the excitement of a shooter with the colour-matching element found in old memory games. Some of the game’s features include:

  • Timed mode
  • Survival mode
  • Three levels of difficulty
  • Leader Board

The fundraising goal is set at $3500.00, which will enable Steven to cover the cost of software, toolsets, plugins, licenses and marketing. At the time of writing, $2267.00 has been raised – can you help meet this game’s financing goal? Steven offers a few perks for those who are able to offer assistance. Light Byte is tentatively scheduled for release around the beginning of May 2012.
