Future Shop Inks Exclusive Distribution Deal With Click Magazine

Future ShopFuture Shop and Click Magazine, a Canadian men’s lifestyle magazine focusing on the converging movies, games, technology sectors, have teamed to offer customers the magazine monthly. Starting March 15th, Future Shop becomes the sole destination to pick up the English versions of Click Magazine for free, at 120 Future Shop stores across Canada.

“We’re excited to launch Click Magazine at Future Shop,” said Bob Frizzell, Director of Operations, Future Shop. “It’s a natural fit for our business and our tech-savvy customers. They can enjoy reading about the latest in technology, entertainment and gaming, and experience it all at the same time.”

“Since launching in Canada last year, Click Magazine has grown rapidly, but we truly feel we’re taking things to the next click magazinelevel by distributing exclusively through Future Shop,” said Frank O’Grady, CEO of Click Media. “Future Shop is such a natural fit for us as a publisher given our focus on the converging movies, gaming and technology sectors. We are also pleased to reveal we are now a monthly magazine instead of a bi-monthly publication – our goal since launch and we have introduced many new digital elements launching in issue one. These include our Calendar App so the consumer always has the most up to date product release dates, integrated video pieces for some editorial features and online contests for great monthly giveaways.”

Inside the first issue of Click Magazine at Future Shop, readers will uncover the latest news about massively celebrated gaming titles, such as Mass Effect 3, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Diablo III. Interviews with big names in the entertainment business are also featured, such as actor Daniel Craig and executives from Electronic Arts Canada and PlayStation Canada. Additionally, product reviews are prominent with several of the hottest gadgets and movie releases hitting the market profiled, such as the HP Envy 14 Spectre laptop, Turtle Beach X12 Gaming Headset, 21 Jump Street, and much more.

Upcoming issues of the monthly includes features on the annual Canadian Videogame Awards, interviews with the biggest celebrities in movies, music and gaming, and reviews of present and future gadgetry.
