Exfo has launched new EXFO Connect functionalities that streamline network deployment workflow and procedures. EXFO Connect is a suite of cloud-based software applications designed to interoperate with EXFO’s large established base of smart test platforms, transforming independent instruments into productive solutions.
The added file sharing and distribution capabilities will benefit two groups of EXFO Connect users: first, team managers can now store content such as test configurations, trainings or internal procedures, and then distribute it to their remote teams via 3G or Wi-Fi; second, field technicians will benefit from content that will both reduce possible mistakes and significantly enhance their day-to-day efficiency.
These new EXFO Connect functionalities create a well-balanced synergy with the recently launched EXFO Apps portal, which is home to various productivity-boosting software applications or contents that can also be pushed automatically from EXFO Connect—notably the brand-new “How-To” video capsules, short trainings that are accessible for viewing directly on the FTB Platforms.
