[1]There’s an abundance of content available for video game consoles and mobile devices – parents can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed. Parental control features on consoles and devices can help parents limit age-inappropriate content for their kids and restrict unwanted in-app purchases. The Entertainment Software Association of Canada [2] has partnered with tech experts Marc Saltzman [3] and Carl-Edwin Michel [4] to produce a new series of informative videos that help parents manage video games and other content in the home.
The new videos provide step-by-step information on how to access and use the parental control features of the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Wii U as well as tips for Android and Apple mobile devices. You can see all of the new videos on the ESAC Facebook page [5] or visit the ESAC website to see all of the parental control videos [6], including ones for the last generation of video game consoles. The videos are also available on the ESAC YouTube channel [7].
