UFile Tax Software Rolls Out New Products For Upcoming Tax Season

ufile [1]UFile [1] tax software is launching two new versions of its desktop software for Windows this year, UFile 4 and UFile 12, to better serve its customers for the 2013 tax period and make filing taxes easy. Company research has shown that most users are preparing returns for fewer than three people.  Now, consumers can choose the best product for them based on the number of returns they need, thereby saving money and knowing that there is a guarantee that they are going to get the best results.

“As we move into 2014, we understand that most Canadians don’t particularly enjoy preparing their tax returns, so we wanted to offer them options to make it easier and more economical to file from home,” said Malcolm Campbell, VP Professional & Consumer Software & Services, Canada Thomson Reuters. “By adjusting our suite of products to UFile 4 and UFile 12, consumers have more options than ever to fulfill their unique needs at an economical price while still being able to take advantage of a trusted, Canadian brand that is UFile.”

UFile 4 ($19.99) can be used to prepare up to four returns. UFile 12 ($39.99) is available to prepare up to 12 returns. Both packages include a bonus four returns for taxpayers with an income of $25,000 or less – this includes people such as students, low income seniors and workers eligible for the working income tax benefit. To serve those with more returns to prepare, UFile 20 is available exclusively at Staples across Canada.
