WordLogic Reach Goes Beyond Intelligent Text Prediction

wordlogic [1]Predictive intelligence technology developer WordLogic [1] (CTIA Booth Number #3727), a Vancouver company that creates patented solutions for mobiles, tablets and desktops, has again expanded the boundaries of predictive text input with the launch at CTIA Wireless 2013 of its latest ground breaking intelligent messaging solution – WordLogic Reach. The new, patent-pending technology allows users to add context-aware information into messages, emails and forms without needing to switch through other apps or search their devices. WordLogic Reach intelligently accesses information from other apps, such as contacts, location, calendar entries, images, bookmarks and more – adding detailed information and web links with the minimum of effort.

“WordLogic Reach is truly the first technology of its kind and opens up endless opportunities for accessing information while sending a message or entering information on a mobile or tablet device,” said Mark Dostie, Chief Technology Officer of WordLogic. “Reach signals the start of a truly intelligent age of messaging in a way that is efficient, secure and seamless. Consumers and enterprises alike will benefit from more efficient access and the ability to share the wealth of information on their mobile device or stored on their corporate data servers.”

WordLogic Reach automatically predicts when users may need to access information stored in other apps on their device or in registered web or corporate data sources, based on the context of the message or information being entered. The user is able to instantly “reach” into these apps and pull key information into the message or current application to share with recipients across texts, emails, IMs and social network updates without having to switch between apps or exit the application screen.

WordLogic Reach is applicable to both enterprise clients and mobile consumers with Android tablets and mobiles. For example, an executive can quickly and easily compose a message and share vital information held on the corporate intranet – such as contact details, meeting locations, links to cloud-based documents and other enterprise applications like HR and Payroll applications, ERP applications, or web applications like Salesforce.com and Dropbox.

Meanwhile, consumers can arrange social events with friends simply by writing a text and letting WordLogic Reach intelligently add relevant information like directions from Google Maps, times and dates from their calendar, contacts and even photo attachments.

“This new WordLogic technology goes beyond anything text input technology has offered in the past,” continued Dostie. “With WordLogic Reach, mobile users can harness the power of their device, the apps and data on it, and also external data, to supercharge how they work, share and communicate.”

WordLogic Reach is now available for enterprises to licence. WordLogic is also recruiting third-party partners to develop their own co-branded mini-apps that plug into the new WordLogic Reach framework.”
