Masters of Mystery: Crime of Fashion Free For A Limited Time

Big Blue BubbleIn honour of Mother’s Day, and starting today through to May 13th, game publisher G5 Entertainment is offering Masters of Mystery: Crime of Fashion by Big Blue Bubble to iOS, Google Play, Kindle Fire and Nook users at no charge. Initially released for PC, this hidden object adventure has spent over 10 days in top 10 of all major casual game charts and has instantly won hearts of mobile players. Now you can get this detective adventure for free.

Masters of Mystery: Crime of Fashion is a story-driven puzzler with plenty of levels to play through, mini-games to master and interesting characters to interact with. You enter the game as Carrie Chase, a detective who investigates the murder of a New York fashion designer. Soon she comes to the disturbing realization she’s dealing with a serial killer out for more blood. The story, which plays out like an episode of CSI – complete with forensics tools, lab analysis and deduction – is quite good and with a few twists, too. Plus, the diverse characters you’ll meet are memorable and many lines of dialogue are well-written.

The game offers two game modes. Choose the Timed Mode and find all the items hidden around the scene in 10 minutes. If you fail to do this in a timely manner, you’ll start your search again with a few different objects in the list. Choose the Relaxed Mode and take your time to enjoy every detail in each scene. Glorious technicolor artwork, twisted plot, bright characters make your adventure in Masters of Mystery: Crime of Fashion delightful and keep you on your toes all along the game.

Unlike some games of this kind, the items you need to search for are relevant to the story or location. What’s more, some items you find will be placed in your inventory and used on crime scene, including a flashlight in dark environments, UV light to search for blood stains, a duster for fingerprints and magnifying glass for close-ups. Also, some items on the screen can be searched further, such as a briefcase or purse that you can examine even more closely. The game keeps the player immersed in the story at all times throughout its 25 locations and with more than 500 items to find.
