Prefect Expands Online Market Testing Application

mini-orby [1]Prefect [2]® Inc. has announced that it is now offering its flagship virtual market testing service for film/TV professionals to other industries. Prefect- an online tool that measures audience reaction to elements of a filmmaker’s production – is now available to professionals in the music, literature, gaming, fashion and snack food industries.

The application plugs marketable components (e.g. movie title, cast member, theme music) into a simulated environment that replicates a customer’s typical decision-making experience. The simulation is deployed to online viewers nationally, and the results provided to the client.foursteps [3]

“Prefect creates innovative, online tools that help Canadian producers thrive in a highly-competitive market,” said Shani Luke, Prefect’s Founder and Creative Director. “By connecting designers to a national audience, they can use real audience feedback to refine any marketable element of the production, versus only engaging an audience in the final production phases.”

The company has developed a virtual shopping centre, with levels that correspond to the type of product. The shopping centre will also be a platform for companies to market to their target audience in a unique and interactive way.

“Targeting these industries is a natural progression for Prefect,” said Luke. “The key target market for companies within these industries is often similar to that of the film & television industry.”

Prefect will begin accepting clients for its Virtual Shopping Centre this summer. Prefect Inc. is a Canadian virtual market testing solutions company that connects industry professionals to their customers.
