Music For Productions Announces Release Of New Online Licensing Tool

mini-orby [1]Music for Productions [2] has just announced that their new online licensing tool will be launched within days. A valid license with Music for Productions grants customers the right to both the recording (master copy) and the composition (musical copyright). This is more commonly referred to as the synchronization right. Synchronization is the right to affix music with visual images or other audio signals and to mechanically reproduce the copyrighted music in soundtracks and copies of soundtracks. This is ideal for any production whether in theatre, radio or television.

Once tracks have been selected music usage may be reported by phone, fax or by email. When production has been completed customers can download a form off the Music for Productions website and fill out a license application form (laf). The form can be emailed or faxed at 1.866.218.1855. Music for Productions will then email customers an invoice which converts into a license once payment has been received.

Music for Productions provides high quality tracks through a platform that easily enables customers to find the right music for their show. The company is Canada’s first full service, online supplier of music for productions. Music for Productions offers four types of services: production music libraries, song catalogue, custom scoring and music supervision services. Members receive a number of benefits such as downloading music in broadcast quality format, organizational tools and an unlimited range of musical genres and styles.
