Kivuto Solutions Founder Receives IMPACT Award

kivuto [1]Ram Raju, President and CEO of Kivuto Solutions Inc. [1], an Ottawa-based complex digital distribution service provider, has received the IMPACT Award from the International Talent Acquisition Centre [2] (In-TAC), another Ottawa-based organization that connects internationally-trained IT professionals with local employers. Raju received the award for his continuing support of In-TAC’s efforts through Kivuto’s proactive hiring practices. In 2012 alone, Kivuto hired 16 graduates of In-TAC’s employment programs.

“It’s an honor to receive this award on behalf of all of us at Kivuto,” Raju said. “We are all firm believers in finding the right talent for the right job and In-TAC’s programs have enabled us to find exceptional international talent right here in Ottawa. In-TAC makes it easier to find individuals with the IT skills and knowledge our business needs, and with cross-cultural expertise and language skills that will help Kivuto bridge cultural gaps and expand into global markets.”

The IMPACT Award was presented at In-TAC’s fourth annual “Where Business Meets Talent” Gala at the National Arts Center in Ottawa. The gala celebrated In-TAC’s ongoing efforts to bring international talent to Canadian businesses. Seven individuals and businesses were honored, including employers, community collaborators, newcomers and individuals in Ottawa that have contributed to the success of In-TAC’s programs through proactive hiring practices, excellent training and support, mentoring and commitment to learning. Since its inception, 250 immigrants who have made Canada their new home found work in their field of expertise through the support of In-TAC’s 400 partner businesses in Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver.
