Relaxnews, a Paris-based provider of  lifestyle and leisure news, and Quebec-based BE Interactive have signed an agreement for joint expansion in Canada. The agreement, which took effect on July 1st, will bring together the content offering and editorial, marketing and technological expertise of the two firms. The partnership will take the form of a usage license for the AFP-Relaxnews wire service accorded to BE Interactive.

Citytv has announced the start of production on an all-new, original documentary The Sky is the Limit, showcasing Saskatchewan’s unprecedented economic boom.  The Sky is the Limit is the first Citytv production to begin in the province since Rogers Media acquired Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN) and launched Citytv Saskatchewan, which officially hit the airwaves July 1.  Slated to premiere exclusively on Citytv this September, The Sky is the Limitis produced by Saskatchewan-based Stephen Onda Productions Inc. OpenText Corporation and EasyLink Services International Corporation announced yesterday that the merger of EasyLink with an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of OpenText has been completed. The merger was approved by the stockholders of EasyLink at a special meeting held earlier today. As a result of the merger, EasyLink became an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of OpenText.
