New Home Buyers Network Launches iPad App

mini-orby [1]New Home Buyers Network (NHBN) has launched the first iPad app [2] in Canada to make the hunt for new houses and condos in Ontario a whole lot easier. As Canada’s go-to source for online listings of new-build homes, NHBN sees the new app as a natural extension of its existing family of digital offerings that includes the popular homebuyers.com [3] website.

The new app is an easy-to-use and intuitive search tool that connects users to a database of over 6,000 new home and condo models and suites – all in one place – from over 100 of Ontario’s finest and most prominent new home and condominium builders. Homebuyers can view floor plans, save favourites, share listings and create notes about the new homes and condos that interest them. home buyers app [4]

“Today’s new homebuyers are technically savvy and on the go, or even outside the country,” says Sam Reiss, President and CEO, New Home Buyers Network Inc. “If they’re out and about and see a development they like, they want to find out about it right then and there – so we built an iPad app to let them do that.”

The app also allows users to connect directly with builders with their questions and sign up for priority registration to receive updates on new construction projects, buying opportunities and incentives ahead of the general public. In addition, the app supports homebuyers through the decision-making process with a mortgage payment calculator and useful information about the home purchase and ownership process.

“In today’s busy world, people increasingly rely on their digital devices to do everything from staying in touch with family and friends, to reading the news as it happens, to checking the stock market. So, why not allow them the same flexibility and convenience to find a new construction home or condo?” says Dave Reiss, Digital Strategist, New Home Buyers Network Inc. “Our new iPad app is perfectly in line with how we live and work in our ever-changing society.”

The app provides access to new-construction listings across Ontario. In the near future, NHBN plans to expand the geographic reach of the listings to other Canadian provinces.

Not only does the app serve to connect homebuyers directly with builders, but it also expands the reach of builders’ advertising dollars. Listings on existing web properties operated by New Home Buyers Network will synchronize to the mobile app – at no additional cost.

To celebrate the launch of its new app, New Home Buyers Network will be giving away a new iPad to one lucky user. Contestants will automatically be entered into the draw after completing a free sign-up process within the app. The contest closes May 30, 2012.
