PowerSearch Software Announces Enhanced Search Functionality And Support For All Languages

mini-orbyPowerSearch Software, a developer of affordable and accessible search technologies, today announced the product now has enhanced search functionality and full Unicode support –allowing the product to support all languages. The search functionality now includes multiple key word and search term loader making it even simpler to search and cull the documents so you collect only what you need.

With the multi- term loader, instead of entering each term individually in the search window of PowerSearch, users can type all their keyword and search terms into a text file and PowerSearch will automatically load and search for them all at once.  This capability significantly speeds up the searching process while not requiring users to learn all the search syntax.  And, the product now supports all languages. With full Unicode support, PowerSearch can be used anywhere in the world, widely broadening the products user base.

“There is a definite need in the legal community for a cost-effective and less complicated approach to doing e-discovery,”

stated George Socha, founder of Socha Consulting and co-creator of The E-Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). “Many lawyers don’t even attempt e-discovery and either settle or abandon a case due to what they think will be enormous e-discovery costs. It’s time to level the playing field in litigation and bring products and offerings to lawyers for all cases – big and small.”

“Our goal with PowerSearch is to provide an easy and cost-effective way for e-discovery to be used in all litigation, “ stated Girts Jansons, founder and CEO of PowerSearch. “With PowerSearch, users can easily extract, process, search, and cull documents – all at no cost. And, with these new features PowerSearch can be used in even more cases globally.”

PowerSearch uses proprietary technology to locate and search files on local drives, network repositories as well as Twitter feeds. PowerSearch extracts email repositories (including Exchange) and zipped files, indexing the content of emails and electronic documents making them fully searchable. Search results can be saved and, if necessary, exported into current tools for further review. And, there is no charge for deploying the software or for searching or culling. Users only pay for final results, files they ultimately deem relevant and decide to save, by using a system of tokens purchased via credit card or PayPal at a fraction of a cent per token from the Online Token Bank.
