Ideavibes Moves Into Invest Ottawa Start-up Incubator

ideavibes [1]Crowdsourcing company Ideavibes [2] announced today that it has moved into new digs in Ottawa’s Little Italy and is one of Invest Ottawa’s [3] first tenants in their newly launched Start-up Incubator.

“We are excited to be taking this next step in growing our platform, the brand, and our company. Being located around other start-ups will help us fill in the gaps we are experiencing as we grow Ideavibes, according to CEO Paul Dombowsky. “Also, this area of town has a great energy about it so we’ll see a number of firms taking advantage of the space and vibe.”

Ideavibes works with companies to help them utilize social media and crowdsourcing to build better products and take advantage of the great benefits that open innovation offers. They also work with governments to incorporate crowdsourcing as part of their citizen engagement and innovation strategy. Ideavibes also helps organizations implement crowdfunding for organizations such as cities, charities, start-up funds, etc.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Paul and his Ideavibes Team to the Invest Ottawa Incubator at 80 Aberdeen. Paul in a short period of time has become a recognized thought leader in the Social Internet Space. His one year old company is now poised for expansion and will receive intensive ‘hands on’ assistance from Invest Ottawa, our Regional Alliance partners and our acceleration team that includes our 5 Entrepreneurs in Residence. Welcome”, says Bob Huggins of Invest Ottawa.

Clients such as The City of Ottawa, TELUS™, Scouts Canada, Web of Change and the 3i-Summit in Ottawa also rely on Ideavibes to implement open innovation or crowdsourcing in their organizations.
