silanisIBM partners who are looking to integrate their technologies with IBM’s LotusLive will gain valuable insight from Silanis’ technical presentation offered as part of Lotusphere 2012’s Best Practices track. Senior Technical Lead for Silanis Technology Inc., Bogdan Chifor, who managed the integration of his company’s e-signature cloud-based technology with IBM LotusLive to create Silanis’ new e-SignLive™ Software as a Service product, will present the learnings the development team made during the software development process.

“Silanis was one of the first partners to merge our software with IBM LotusLive two years ago. We have since continued to enhance our solution while taking advantage of each software release,” says Chifor. “I plan to share our experience and provide a best practices approach for other companies looking integrate with the LotusLive service.”

Chifor’s presentation, entitled “LotusLive as a Partner Integration Platform: How we integrated our cloud service with LotusLive using CMIS and Open Social Contacts”, will take place on January 19, 2012 at 11:15 a.m. in North Hemisphere Room D.

The hour-long presentation will include an e-SignLive product demonstration as well as a step-by-step overview of the modules and processes involved in the integration process. His talk will touch on e-signature considerations such as authentication and sign-on procedures, as well as how to work with LotusLive APIs, which are based on Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS), OpenSocial Contacts and Profile APIs.

“I will talk about the libraries we chose, give some examples of specific code, and show how Silanis’ Web 2.0 service—which has a JEE back-end—is incorporated,” says Chifor. “I’ve also scheduled plenty of time for questions. I’m looking forward to a lively, informative exchange with participants.”
