Start Your Friday Happy Hour With Giggle Water

binary dawn [1]Binary Dawn Interactive [1] is pleased to announce that Giggle Water [2] (99 cents USD) along with its complimentary, ad-supported free version Giggle Water: On the House [3] is now available in the iTunes App Store.

Yip, it’s finally happy hour and Giggle Water with its proprietary “blot-o-meter” and curiously intoxicating beverages will have players excitedly swinging, swilling, swaying and swaggering with their iPhones and iPads until last call.

In Giggle Water the fun comes from trying to quench Alfie’s thirst! It’s a humorous, tilt-based, universal iOS game and in fine “Roaring 20’s” style, the 2D-cutout characters get quite wobbly at the local speakeasy while players work to help them pour a decent drink. The game’s slapstick humor is great for a quick laugh that you’ll want to share with friends.

The game’s main character Alfie is a distinguished gentleman in a fancy fedora. Exotic spirits flow generously through the taps at his favorite gin joint, while lively ragtime tunes play in the background. However, after just a few drinks this dapper chap quickly turns into one tipsy fellow.

The app is super simple to use. All you have to do is get a glass of hooch into Alfie’s mouth without spilling it. However, there’s a catch: The more you drink, the more fun he becomes to control! This amusing, martini-swilling character responds to your iPhone or iPad’s tilts and with each drink becomes slightly more inebriated and uncoordinated.

“We really worked hard to deliver a good-natured, entertaining app that takes full advantage of the iPhone’s accelerometer in a humorous way,” said Binary Dawn President and lead developer Roddie Kieley, “We developed a fun physics-based control system and we really hope users will be in high spirits after playing a few rounds!”

Giggle Water is optimized for Retina Display and it is a universal app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices running iOS 3.1.3 or later. The game is rated 12+ for Infrequent/Mild Mature/Suggestive Themes and Infrequent/Mild Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drug Use or References.
