Quebec Technology Association Looking For Startups

Quebec Technology AssociationThe Quebec Technology Association (AQT) invites managers and partners in the information and communications technologies industry to recommend candidates for the third year of its 1-2-3 GO! program. Each year, the program provides 33 business startups with the opportunity to take advantage of a free AQT membership, a targeted support program and substantial savings on the registration fee for other training and AQT Accelerator networking services.

“We offer 33 free memberships per year, based on recommendations from our members who want emerging businesses to learn from experienced managers. This way, startups in accelerated growth mode can avoid potentially costly errors”, says Nicole Martel, President and General Manager of the Quebec Technology Association.

Several free memberships are still available for 2011. They will be given to startups who offer ICT solutions and/or services who have been established for not more than three years, who have not more than three employees and who are highly motivated to participate in the program.

One of the entrepreneurs who participated in the program last year, Alexandre Sagala , President of ALSA Marketing describes his experience with the program: “The AQT was a great platform for meeting peers and getting answers to some of my questions. I was struck by the openness and expertise of the people who associate with the organization, and the managers. I am quite sure that I avoided a number of errors and that I accelerated the development of my business. I highly recommended that all technology entrepreneurs join the AQT.”

Startups can apply between now and September 30, 2011, by completing the form available on the Association’s Web site. For further information, please contact Virginie Gaquière at 514 874-2667, ext.101 or virginie@aqt.ca.
