The WAB conference is right before the Banff World Media Festival providing an opportunity to attend two great events focusing on broadcasting and media in Canada. Our conference represents a unique opportunity to meet one on one with private radio and television broadcasters in a relaxed and informal setting.
With only 100 key broadcasters and suppliers in attendance, WAB 2013 represents an excellent time for networking and meeting with the decision makers in Prairie and National broadcasting. The WAB board also works hard to bring business content with reports from CAB, BBM, CBSC and great keynote speakers!

Thursday – Business Sessions, Awards, Entertainment
The conference kicks off Wednesday June 5 with golf at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course – world class golf with a view that can’t be beat. The golf wraps with an evening of networking and great food.
Thursday will be business focused with reports from industry experts and speakers bringing the business “meat” to the table. We also will hold our 79th annual AGM and we hope to be part of another CRTC Meet & Greet for the third year in a row. The CRTC Meet & Greet has been a key part of our conference for the last two years and our guests really appreciate the opportunity to meet CRTC Commissioners and staff in an informal setting. The Meet & Greet provides guests and CRTC the opportunity to meet with people who may have only talked on the phone previously and provides a new dynamic and understanding.
