BC Talent Featured At Casual Connect USA

Province of BCBritish Columbia’s innovative and creative casual games industry will showcase their talents at the professionals-only Casual Connect conference in San Francisco today and tomorrow. The B.C. government will be there to support them by providing meeting space and business-to-business matchmaking. These systems include enterprise social collaboration tools from Salesforce and Jive Software, real-time polling systems from Lumi and registration systems from EventBrite and RegOnline. QuickMobile today announced strategic relationships with several registration software providers in an effort to simplify registration integration into the mobile event app experience. While QuickMobile will continue to support most registration systems, the company will now provide deeper productized offerings and out-of-the-box integration with a select number of solutions, including those provided by AllianceTech, Certain Inc., Cvent, etouches, EventsForce, Opus Solutions and SignUp4. BC Government Grants Available For Developing Artists

Province of BCArts and culture organizations and developing artists can now apply for funding assistance through the BC Art Council’s Early Career Development Program. The program supports early career artists wanting to develop their practice while building their portfolio, professional exposure and/or career experience through co-op placement, internship, residency or mentorship.
