Vancouver Film School Announces Game Design Expo 2012

Vancouver Film School (VFS) has announced that the sixth annual Game Design Expo will be taking place on January 21-22, 2012. Game Design Expo is a unique weekend of presentations and networking, beginning with Industry Speaker Day on Saturday, January 21st. The full day of presentations will be followed by a special panel discussion focused on the local indie game scene.

TVO Tweets The Final Days Of The First World War

TVOJoin TVO as it revisits the historic and dramatic final days of the First World War, all through a unique Twitter campaign that focuses on the Ontario media headlines of the time. From November 4-11, TVO will be tweeting 10-15 times daily with the headlines of war-related newspaper stories from November 4-11, 1918.  As part of TVO’s Remembrance programming, the campaign will provide a glimpse of what Ontarians of the era experienced, including breaking news from the European war front, coverage of how the war’s final days affected the lives of people at home, plus exclusive interviews linked to WWI veterans. Dynamic Digital Industry In Quebec Reflected In Festivals New and Old

MTL-DGTLThe first edition of MTL DGTL, held in Montreal from October 31 to November 2 has come and gone. The new festival, which was  organized by Alliance numérique  and sponsored by the Canada Media Fund, drew in nearly 2,100 digital industry professionals from Quebec as well as from other parts of Canada and from around the world.
