Warner Bros. Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises”—the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy—is one of the most anticipated films of 2012, but moviegoers won’t have to wait until next year to see the six-minute opening sequence of the film. The film’s prologue will be unveiled exclusively in select 70mm IMAX^®theatres worldwide. Two filmmakers with a passion for history have revealed astonishing details about the history of Quebec through home movies made in the 1920’s to the 1980’s. Ten of Ontario’s leading screen-based producers have just returned from an inaugural ten-day Mission to India led by the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) in partnership with Telefilm Canada.  The trade mission took delegates to Mumbai and Goa, including visits to the National Film Development Corporation’s (NFDC) Film Bazaar and the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), providing the delegates with an opportunity to forge new relationships between Ontario and Indian filmmakers and build the foundation for future collaboration between the two jurisdictions.
