Telefilm Canada’s Executive Director Carolle Brabant was honoured last evening by Canadian Women in Communications (CWC) at its 2012 Annual Awards Gala. Ms. Brabant is a recipient of a CWC 2012 Excellence in Leadership Award. The Awards recognize nationwide leadership excellence and commitment to women’s advancement and equality in the communications and technology industries. This year two leading organizations and eight top executives were spotlighted. Held at Ottawa’s Fairmont Château Laurier, the Gala attracted hundreds of industry and government leaders.
