The Late Late Show Host Craig Ferguson To Receive The Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award At The Banff World Media Festival

Banff World Media FestivalBanff World Media Festival has just announced that (our favourite) late night talk show host and comedian Craig Ferguson will be presented the Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award at this year’s Festival. Mr. Ferguson will also be featured in a one-on-one VIP session at BANFF, open to all delegates. The Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award recognizes a creative talent that has made an outstanding comedic contribution to the media industry. 2013 Canadian Videogame Awards Finalists Announced

Canadian VideoGame AwardsThe finalists in sixteen categories were announced today for the upcoming Canadian Videogame Awards, which will be held in Vancouver on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in conjunction with  Fan Expo Vancouver.  Over 100 nominations were received this year from all parts of Canada, with ­­25 games represented in the list of finalists. Elias Toufexis Announced As Host For The 4th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards

Canadian Video Game AwardsI was very happy to see this announcement – I had tweeted several weeks ago that I’d like to see Elias as this year’s host. The producers of the Canadian Videogame Awards are delighted to announce that Elias Toufexis will be the host for this year’s show, to be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on April 20, 2013. Elias has garnered a loyal and enthusiastic following in the videogame world with dozens of roles in popular games like the Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell series and most notably for his 2012 CVA Best New Character winning role of Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
