Guidelines Available For Canada – São Paulo, Brazil Codevelopment Incentive

^[1]The Canada Media Fund ^[1] (CMF) is pleased to announce that the program guidelines ^[2] (PDF – 40KB) for the Canada – Brazil Codevelopment Incentive between the Canada Media Fund and SP Cine (São Paulo, BR) are now available on the CMF website. The incentive will open for applications on February 17, 2015.

This incentive is subsequent to a partnership between both organizations to encourage the development of convergent content (television and related digital media). The budget for the incentive is CDN$200,000 ($100,000 each from the CMF and SP Cine).

The incentive will be awarded to eligible projects on a first-come, first-served basis until resources for the incentive are depleted or until the application deadline, whichever comes first. If several projects are competing for limited resources, the funding partners reserve the right to select projects or offer a lesser amount of funding to some or all eligible projects. The International Coproduction and Codevelopment Incentives guidelines include eligibility criteria and maximum contributions by each organization.
