Montreal-based electronic signature provider Silanis Technology has announced that Oracle includes Silanis’ e-SignLive™ in its customer communications management (CCM) platform, Oracle Documaker. Independent research firm Forrester Research, Inc. made the following statement in its September 2013 report, Developing the Value Side of the DOCCM Business Case, “Add eSignature to your DOCCM solution. Why send a nice set of electronic documents to your customer and then ask them to print them out, sign them, and mail them in? eSignature solutions are gaining acceptance with the legal community and are easier than ever to integrate with core systems of record.”
Oracle Documaker offers current and future users a solution for paperless processing that will enable them to:
- Complete business transactions faster, in minutes versus days, by keeping the process and documents completely electronic. One of the most common reasons cited for falling back to paper is the need for approval and signatures, which then creates a manual chain of events including data entry, printing, shipping and QA on returned documents;
- Reduce errors associated with paperwork, including missing data and signatures;
- Save costs in paper, courier and customer service costs.
Customers and users alike are demanding the ability to securely deliver and sign documents electronically in virtually any place, any time and on any device. Silanis’ e-SignLive in Oracle Documaker creates a completely digital transaction, from the generation of the documents to the index and storage of the electronically signed documents. The electronic process helps ensure the documents are reviewed in the correct order and the necessary data and signatures are captured, which can eliminate the high error processing that occurs with manual intervention.
The organization not only improves customer service levels but it also improves operations because it can continue downstream processing of the documents and data creating a very efficient and effective workflow.
To help illustrate how Silanis’ e-signatures and Oracle Documaker work together, Silanis and Oracle hosted a webcast, which is available now for download.
