In addition to presenting in front of a wide range of buyers, nominees will also be able to capitalize on the strong media presence at this year’s event due to official partnerships with AFJV, JDLI, Develop, Games Industry International, PocketGamer.biz, GamesMarkt, Branded Entertainment Online, 2P.com, Pocket Videogames, The Rude Baguette and the MediaXP group (IGN.de, PocketGamer.de, GamingXP and BusinessXP).

Matthew Wilson, Head of Developer Relations at Rovio Entertainment, a member of our talented jury commented: “I’ve attended Game Connection Europe for the past three years and my favorite part has always been seeing the talented developers that take part in the Selected Projects contest. Last year’s winner, Badlands, went on to be hugely successful and this year I hope to see games that set the bar that high, or higher!”

Jerry Belich at Monkey with a Mustache, also took the chance to comment on their nomination”As we are at the cusp of a new generation of console hardware, I find it both hilarious and inspirational that the Choosatron be nominated. Though to be fair, it is powered by something far greater than dozens of CPUs: THE IMAGINATION.” We wish all of our nominees the best of luck in the final draw!

“As one of the largest social/mobile game publishers, 6waves always partners with game developers to drive success for the world’s most popular platforms. 6waves loves participating on the jury of Game Connection’s Selected Projects, it provides a tremendous opportunity for us to help and support upcoming developers.” said Arthur Chow, CEO at 6waves.

Game Connection Europe 2013 takes place 3-5 December Les Docks de Paris, Paris, France.
