The much anticipated – “Merging Media Tête-à-têtes” Podcast series – kicks off this month, as well. A fount of cross-media goodness is being brought to you by The Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) in conjunction with the Merging Media 2013 Conference. To launch activities around this Special Global Edition, Merging Media will post a series of Podcasts featuring two #MM2013 Speakers each fortnight leading up to the Conference. Listen in for insightful conversations on topics that are challenging our multi-screen eco-system.

“The CMPA is pleased to collaborate with Merging Media in this exercise in promoting thought leadership and innovation in transmedia,” said Michael Hennessy, President & CEO, CMPA. Episode #1 features #MM2013’s International Advisor, Alison Norrington of Story Central (UK), and Brian Seth Hurst of The Opportunity Management Company (USA). Their tête-à-tête : “ Sharing Storyworlds: Embracing the Fans,” explores the changing nature of storytelling involving Fans.

Tune in online for the Podcast… and don’t forget to catch them “Live” when they come to Merging Media 2013 in Fall – and if you have a hot topic you’d like our #MM2013 thought leaders to debate, send it in.
