dark house films [1]Dark House Films, Inc. [1] has announced two independent feature films from director Manuel H. Da Silva (The Unleashed, Cycle of Fear: There is No End) – Hush Now and Ingress. Ingress is Da Silva’s third film, based on the screenplay by Diane DaSilva and L. A. Lopes and produced by Diane Da Silva (The Unleashed). Director of Photography: Jay Guerriere (The Unleashed). Hush Now is his fourth film. Produced by Diane Da Silva, Hush Now was co-written by Craig Stewart and Jessica Toombs.

Ingress is a detailed look into the fears we all harbour inside ourselves. The fears that haunt our sub-conscience. It follows three individuals who are connected in their lives by must face their fears on their own. Since the day of its creation, alongside the guidance of Heaven, Earth has been desired by Hell. Four people are connected in more ways then one. Each of them have to face the worst fears in a house that has trapped them with a dark secret from their past.

One must face their fear, and in reality most people supress them or ignore them. Ingress focuses on four characters who will either face their fear and succeed or die if they fail. Many people are scared of the “unknown.” The unknown can branch out to many areas such as the hereafter, the next ten years, or even tomorrow. Many people are too scared to take the path they want, because of what may lie ahead.

Ingress stars Dennis Andres, Sandy Duarte (Dora Award Winner) and L.A. Lopes. Principal photography is currently being shot in Toronto and is scheduled to be completed in July, 2013.

Meanwhile, in Hush Now, a family on the brink of financial ruin schemes to extort the public by creating a tale of a fake demon possession. Main characters Karen and Michael are finally able to rejoice at the success of the horrifying demon possession hoax they created, with the help of Nick Rosa. However, when the media circus dies down, the possession becomes real and Karen falls under attack by the dark presence. Unexplainable sounds and harrowing encounters escalate until Karen is brutally attacked by the invisible force. Under media pressure, Michael calls back Nick Rosa, their false accomplice. Nick, shaken, runs from the horror, leaving Karen to face the demons aloneā€¦ or so it seems. This new horror/thriller will be darker than DaSilva previous film “The Unleashed”.

Casting has begun for Hush Now and will continue throughout the summer. Principal photography is scheduled to start in Toronto late Fall 2013.
