Wmode To Add New Functionality To Ingage Self-Care

wmodeWmode is pleased to announce the next version of Ingage, which will be targeted at cable operators, set-top box manufacturers and connected TV markets. Ingage, an essential customer self-care app, is aimed at driving consumer loyalty and reducing customer care costs. Designed with the core values of providing an intuitive customer care approach, Ingage gives users an unprecedented experience with their service providers across smart phones, tablets, set-top boxes and other connected devices.

Via Ingage, cable operators and service providers can offer their subscribers a unique experience by connecting with users on their second screen through advertising and promotions. In addition to smart phones, Ingage now offers a specific experience on tablets. Users can manage their accounts, browse content, control their PVR, preview and purchase shows and movies, order pay-per-view and do virtually everything from their second screen device.

The intrinsic value Ingage offers to customers is the unrestricted freedom to manage and access their accounts and services. Through the application, customers can also pay bills, manage their accounts and profile, view usage and consumption, subscribe to new services, join loyalty programs, apply for promotions and locate stores and FAQ’s.

Speaking to the new product features, Tom Beaman Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Wmode commented, “We will continue to evolve Ingage and look at TV and connected devices as an important part of our strategy. Giving service providers the ability to connect with their subscribers through a second screen is rapidly becoming a requirement in this industry. Ingage’s broad support for smart phones, tablets and other connected devices is unmatched amongst our competitors and the on-device video streaming is an important next step for the product.”

Ingage is offered as a turnkey solution leveraging Wmode’s existing app creation and network integration experience. The adaptive and component based architecture allows for seamless integration into backend systems.
