Introducing Kids Coding – Introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript Online Course

mammoth interactive [1]John Bura, owner of the game development studio Mammoth Interactive [1], has announced a new online course that aims to teach kids how to code, Kids Coding -Introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript [2]. It’s time to admit it, the anti-social, unkempt, thirtysomething computer programmer who still lives in his parents’ basement is a myth. Today programmers have great job prospects, making on average 78k, which is nearly double the national average. They work for large corporations and small startups, the public and the private sector, for profit and nonprofit organizations. The ability to program is becoming as essential as the ability to read, write and count. The bad news is that the K-12 system hasn’t caught up (yet.) The good news is that kids can learn how to code online.
Isn’t programming too hard for young kids to learn? Not necessarily. Although C++ may not be the best choice for a first grader, kids can begin by learning some of the more forgiving, web-based languages like HTML, CSS, or Javascript. If your child can build a lego ship, she can learn how to build a website. Building websites teaches kids about time management, production, project management, and project execution, all invaluable skills for the 21st century economy. (Did I mention I.T. project managers make 90k a year?)

For a limited time only participants can enroll in this course for only $99.00 USD. Act quickly before this deal ends.
