Kashoo, the makers of simple cloud accounting software for small businesses, has released a new version of its industry-leading accounting iPad app. Version 2.1 includes a number of great new features, namely Attachments, easy mobile printing via AirPrint, faster data entry, a variety of beautiful, client-ready invoice templates and more. Attachments lets Kashoo customers snap a picture of a receipt with their iPad’s camera (or upload an existing image) and attach it to an expense, directly within the app. This capability makes the Kashoo iPad app all a small business owner needs to stay on top of their accounting.
“With the Attachments feature, we’re out to eliminate that universal pain of a shoebox stuffed with crumpled receipts,” said Kashoo CEO, Jim Secord. “And as more and more small business owners are embracing an ‘anytime, anywhere’ workstyle, we’re going to continue to add features that are not only delightfully intuitive to use, but also effective in making small business accounting dead simple and hassle free. ”
While Attachments is a feature designed for the business owner in the field or on-site with clients and customers, it is also a valuable resource to Kashoo accountant and bookkeeper customers. Instead of receiving piles of receipts from their small business clients, accountants and bookkeepers using Kashoo can see when receipts are added and reconcile as required in real time, via the cloud.
“Our MVPs—or Most Valuable Professionals—are loving Attachments,” said Kashoo business development director, Kasey Bayne. “Their clients snap a pic with their iPad and it syncs up in the Kashoo cloud. Then, logging in through the web app at kashoo.com, accountants and bookkeepers can make sure everything’s recorded and accurate. Show me an accountant that would rather receive an annual shopping bag of receipts and I’ll show you a real live unicorn.”
The Kashoo iPad app is compatible on both the standard iPad and the iPad Mini. A complete video overview of new features included in version 2.1 of the Kashoo iPad app can be viewed online.
