XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro Launched With Universal Threat Protection

Pareto LogicParetoLogic’s long running XoftSpy security software has been completely upgraded to the new XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro. In addition to on-demand malware scanning, the software also features complete protection against viruses, rootkits, and other attackers, in addition to Active Protection. XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro is being offered up by ParetoLogic as a comprehensive, all-in-one security solution.

“With ParetoLogic programs like RegCure Pro and PC Health Advisor, our users have shown that they appreciate the ease and the effectiveness of all-in-one utilities,” said Barry Dodd, ParetoLogic General Manager. “Extending that philosophy to our security software was a natural step, and was paired with an overall upgrade in detection and removal technologies.”

With XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro, the list of threats that XoftSpy users are protected against includes viruses, adware, spyware, computer worms, Trojan downloaders, keyloggers, rootkits, drive-by-downloads, and other types of malware. The detection of these threats comes from XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro’s layered detection engines, which feature heuristic, behavioral, and signature-based detection technologies. In addition, Active Protection adds a layer of live threat detection, blocking attacks in real-time as they happen.

“This is without a doubt the most advanced piece of security software ParetoLogic has released to date,” said Dodd. “Users who download XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro can expect total protection against future threats, and full removal of any existing infections.”

XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro is ready-made for Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, and XP, and is available for download from ParetoLogic’s web site. (editor’s note: Ironically, ParetoLogic has a poor trust rating from Web of Trust, so I have not provided direct links to the company’s web site.)
