The Intel Canada Innovation Award recognizes visionary SME (small to midsized enterprises, typically fewer than 250 employees) who are leading the charge in adopting information management’s latest capabilities in innovative, cutting-edge, unique and exciting new ways. The winner is chosen from companies featured in the Intel/CATA Small Business Showcase, judged to have met criteria spanning from usage of innovations for improvement of efficiency, increasing marketability, cost savings, environmentally friendly approach and improvement of market position.
The Winner will be announced at the 28th Annual CATAAlliance Innovation Awards Gala on May 29, 2013, at Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. This year’s theme is “Leadership for the 21st Century.” For over two decades, the CATAAlliance Innovation Awards Gala has been celebrating the best in Canadian advanced technology from coast to coast.
“Award winners have shown that they are innovators and skilled business people. They are role models for the development of commercially successful enterprises in Canada,” says John Reid, CATA President. “CATA’s role as their advocate is to ensure that we create a rich foundation of programs and initiatives that enable leading entrepreneurs to launch their products and exploit their new business opportunities.”
The Small Business Showcase is open throughout the year, thus enabling executives to put forward candidates at any time. Winners obtain exposure and recognition in Canada and abroad through Intel’s and CATA’s extensive outreach resources. Submit your nomination online today.
