MEGA Brands Inc. is showcasing its new line-up of Mega Bloks® First Builders™ preschool construction toys featuring the all-new Billy Beats Dancing Piano, along with the Mega Bloks Halo Authentic Collectors Series in the company’s display booth #751 at the 2013 American International Toy Fair in New York City.

From the leaders in preschool construction toys, the Mega Bloks Billy Beats Dancing Piano introduces little builders to the fun and joy of creating their very own music. Poised to be the star of the Mega Bloks First Builders line-up for Fall 2013, Billy Beats dances to the beat of 8 different pre-programmed songs or those composed by the budding musician. Billy Beat’s colorful light-up keys help teach children to play by following along, and kids will love the piano, wacky DJ and cute animal sounds. As part of the Mega Bloks First Builders system, Billy Beats offers plenty of building opportunities on his keys and “cap”, and moms will love the built-in storage for the included blocks.

The Mega Bloks First Builders collection for 2013 will offer a broader range of products than ever before, and will have even more items targeted to little girls including new cute Block Buddy characters as well as new Lil’ Vehicles. The addition of animal shaped blocks – completely compatible with all First Builders toys – complements the line by offering children more ways to build and play while taking advantage of the developmental benefits that are the hallmark of all Mega Bloks preschool construction toys.

Building on Mega Bloks’ successful line of safe and sturdy ride-ons, the collection continues to grow for 2013 with the addition of Jeep licensed vehicles, offered in both boys and girls versions. Kids will love these tough foot-to-floor ride-ons that feature the rugged styling made famous by the iconic Jeep brand.

The 2013 Mega Bloks Halo construction toy line will offer a whole new array of characters, weapons and vehicles, featuring all new play-patterns and collections. With new “build & combine” possibilities and even more micro action figures, this series will provide expanded collectability for fan builders to explore.
