Make the Game 2013 Open For Registration

^[1]Registration for the international Computec games development competition Make the Game 2013 ^[2] is under way. Until 15 May 2013, developers have the chance to present their browser, mobile or social games to an audience of millions and secure a lucrative publishing contract.

Following the huge success of the first two competitions, Computec Media is running the international developer competition Make the Game again in 2013. The search is on for the best browser, mobile and social games. The expert jury of Make the Game 2013 will award prizes to up to three promising entries.

This time, too, distinguished jury members with years of gaming experience will test the quality of the prize-winning games. Michael Hengst, active in various key positions in the gaming sector since 1988, is jury chairman and is joined by Petra Fröhlich (editor-in-chief, also of PC Games), Florian Stangl (editor-in-chief online, Computec Media) as well as Hans Ippisch (COO, Computec Media).

Make the Game has become a permanent fixture on the international developer scene,” Computec COO, Hans Ippisch, concludes. ‘We are keen to see which category will come out on top in 2013, after wins by a browser game in 2011 and a mobile game in 2012.”

At Make the Game 2011, the Berlin games developers SlipShift took the honours with their futuristic strategy browser game Reborn Horizon ^[3]. Make the Game 2012 was won by a puzzle produced with an amazing eye for detail by the British studio 9cubes which is due to be released by Computec Media in the spring of 2013.
