Chaordix Expands Executive Team

chaordixCalgary’s Shelley Kuipers, Chaordix®Founder and CEO, has announced three growth-related developments in the Chaordix executive team, effective immediately. The company provides a unique managed services offering, combining crowdsourcing processes and technologies with social sciences research methods – for market intelligence, brand development, and open innovation programs.

“Market adoption of our Chaordix Crowd Intelligence™ offering has accelerated significantly this year,” explained Shelley. “With this evolution of our team, we’re positioned to expand our business to continue to meet the needs of our growing clientele of innovative brands and organizations.”

Carey Houston joins the Chaordix executive team, succeeding Jim Gibson as Chief Operating Officer. (Jim takes on a new executive role with the company, detailed below.) Carey will work with the Chaordix team in scaling the company for growth, particularly in the areas of operations management, financing, and client strategy. Carey comes to Chaordix with over 15 years of management experience in fast-growing technology companies, primarily in enterprise software. She has held leadership roles in product management, marketing, and business development, and co-founded and operated a successful marketing services firm. Prior to joining Chaordix, Carey was Vice President of Industry Development at Alberta Enterprise, a limited partner investor in venture capital funds. Carey will continue to be Executive Director of the A100 and has joined their Board of Directors. Carey will be based in the Calgary (Canada) office. Her network of investors and talent will be an asset to Chaordix as it scales to meet market demand.

Jim Gibson, Chief Operating Officer of Chaordix since January 2012, moves to a strategic revenue-focused role as Executive Vice President, Global Markets. In the past year, Jim has contributed to Chaordix’s achievements, particularly in advancing important milestones in the areas of financing and global partnerships. To address growing demand for Chaordix solutions, Jim will now focus his efforts on driving global revenue growth through partnerships and direct sales. Jim will continue to be based out of the Calgary (Canada) office, but will work closely with Chaordix partners and clients globally.

Randy Corke, Vice President of Business Development for Chaordix since March 2009, takes on the role of Vice President and Senior Principal, Crowdsourcing Advisory Services. Randy will lead this practice for Chaordix, in response to an increased client and partner need for advisory services focused on the development of innovative crowd-based business models and related programs. In this new leadership function, Randy will draw upon his deep expertise arising from pioneering work with crowdsourcing, social media, and mobile technologies and processes. Randy is based out of the Boston (USA) Chaordix office.
