Dry Cleaning Goes Digital

urban hamperUrban Hamper, a new e-commerce company has launched in Toronto. The company is looking to change the way urbanites use dry cleaning by offering online ordering, multiple pick up and drop off locations and next day delivery – all of which can be done from your smartphone. The company has partnered with dry cleaners, condominiums, offices and retailers to offer its members the convenience of being able to leave their clothes with their concierge or receptionist at a time that suits them.

Co-Founder Rob Winn explains that “Toronto is the perfect launch pad for Urban Hamper. City dwellers deserve an easier alternative to a traditional industry that hasn’t seen much innovation. We are looking to make life simpler for those who live and work in the city, it really is the way dry cleaning should be.”
