The Centre for Digital Media in Vancouver will play host to FITC as it expands its presence from Toronto to Vancouver. This event, which is all about the Future, Innovation, Technology and Creativity, will feature a workshop day and two days of presentations and panels – as well as a networking social component. Tickets for the November 16, 17 and 18th event are now on sale. Early Bird pricing is in effect until October 12th, and there are Student prices also available. Not sure what FITC is all about? Now that my PC has been re-formatted (thank you Scott) and has a fully-functioning power supply with a hand-me-down graphics card from the CaveChild that is 4 times better than my old one, I can actually work online without wanting to toss my PC through the office window because of sluggishness followed by non-responsiveness on Thursday and Friday (hence the lack of news stories).

CRC Press announced earlier this week that Game Development for iOS with Unity3D by Jeff Murray is now available for Kindle, in addition to the already-released paperback and PDF versions.
