Canadian Roots Radio Announces Launch Date

mini-orbyCanadian Roots Radio, an internet station dedicated to playing Folk, Blues and Roots music announced a launch date of November 1st. Jim Priebe, CFA, President, also said an Indiegogo campaign has been started to raise the funds needed for launch.
Once online, listeners will be able to listen at the station’s website, as well as on the station’s Facebook page. Priebe said he is writing a daily blog – Countdown to Launch – found on the station’s website to keep people up to date about launch activities.

The Indiegogo campaign is designed to raise $20,000, which will help cover the cost of necessary equipment, provide working capital for the first three months while revenue is built, cover royalty payments and provide funds for promotions. Promotion activities are key to building listenership and developing a revenue stream to make the station sustainable.
