D-BOX Signs Another Major UK Exhibitor

D-BoxInnovative motion technology company D-BOX Technologies Inc. has announced an agreement to install its immersive motion technology with ODEON, one of the largest cinema exhibitors in the U.K. The ODEON Liverpool ONE in Liverpool will offer 30 or so D-BOX MFX System starting July 20th in its screen 3, opening with the release of Warner Bros.’ The Dark Knight Rises.

This agreement marks the first sale of D-BOX MFX Systems between ODEON and D-BOX, and will also generate licensing fees payable to D-BOX in accordance with the systems’ use.

“This is a great step for D-BOX. Our motion systems have been incredibly well-received in the U.K. market since our introduction four months ago as we continue to increase our presence in Europe and are delighted to do so with yet another highly regarded circuit such as ODEON,” stated President and CEO of D-BOX Technologies, Claude Mc Master.

Rupert Gavin, CEO of ODEON & UCI Cinemas said: “At ODEON we always seek to experiment with the very latest in cinema technology to ensure that we are offering our guests the full range of cinema going features. We are very keen to assess the customer response to the immersive motion technology of D-BOX “
