Paper Bees Goes To Egypt
London, Ontario board game studio Wiggles3D has ventured into the world of digital development, and invite you to play their first mobile title Paper Bees, a defense game that takes place inside a child’s diorama. Available for both Android (free) and iOS ($1.99 USD), Paper Bees offers 30 levels (more with the new Egypt update) of challenging game play in which the hive must be defended.
The bees must fight off eight different types of enemies, including mosquitoes, stink bugs and exploding beetles. Luckily the bees have their own army of allies: bumblebees, dragonflies and ice worms. Fling the bees at their attackers to help them protect their home, surviving until nightfall.
Included in the Egypt update for Android:
- 2 additional enemies: the sacred Scarab who holds an orb of energy that’s released when one of your bees hits it; and the evil Mummy beetle who becomes deadlier when hit by one of your bees.
- 1 additional powerup: the Locust who gives your bees the ability to summon tornadoes to fend off their enemies.
The 15 new Egyptian levels for the Android version can be obtained through an in-app purchase, which also disables all ads.
Included in the (free) Egypt update for iOS:
- 15 new levels in ancient Egypt
- 2 new enemies: the sacred Scarab who holds an orb of energy that’s released when one of your bees hits it; and the evil Mummy beetle who becomes deadlier when hit by one of your bees.
- 1 new powerup: the Locust who gives your bees the ability to summon tornadoes to fend off their enemies.
- 5 new achievements.
- Improved controls make aiming and flinging easier.
